It's genius. Referring to something no one is aware of, with the two halves of the sentence appearing to be at odds with each otherNope, I give up, I've read your post half a dozen times now, and it still makes no sense
good point. immediate reaction is that's stupid idea, but we already see it in reverse. reckon most people wont notice odd 10p, otherwise they wouldnt be paying extra prices in pubs town centre pubs in the first place. though from business point of view, must be pretty poorly setup if being busier isn't covering their cost.Unhappy hours
Nail on headUnhappy hours

Owner of Slug & Lettuce and Yates’s to raise prices at times such as weekends to help cover costswww.theguardian.com
Tom Kerridge was interviewed about it on Today this morning and explained the '20p extra' is actually the real price when costs are taken into account - i.e. more staff needed at busier times. The rest of the time it's discounted so actually a happy hour.

I'll interpret, but this is only based on something I heard on the radio this morning...
Some pubs are starting to charge more for drinks during "peak hours" than during quieter times. I don't know if this means a discount during off-peak times, or a bump in prices during busier times.

I think it just shows what an inclusive site NSC is. Most sites would insist that someone can write before allowing them to start threads. You do realise that you're doing all the groundwork here
I know, it's a good job they had nothing to do with Magna Carta at Runneymede, orherwise we'll all be still under royal rule.I think it just shows what an inclusive site NSC is. Most sites would insist that someone can write before allowing them to start threads.
