It's ironic that a lot of these 'We want our country back' protesters are harking back to the seventies, a time when there were fascists on the streets of the UK wanting the 1950s back. In the 1940s Moseley's lot were presumably wanting Victorian times back. The answer has always been the same: If we want our country back, forget those who you think may have a penny more than you do. They should be your allies in addressing the people who have actually got it.

The argument that the actions of liberals pushes people towards these ideologies is a self serving lie. Inequality, lack of opportunity, lack of education, absence of hope and manipulative politicians pretending that they have easy answers to complicated problems is what has always pushed people towards these ideologies.
Plus, and forgive me this, the inherent cuntishness of quite a lot of people.

I could think of anything worse than voting for Farage, but people will vote for extremes when they have been let down by those in charge

Blame the politicians, not the the voters.
Regardless of how uninspiring I might find our contemporary mainstream politicians in various ways, I have to get a long way down my list of "Possible Solutions to Improve My Life and/or The Country" before I get to "Become a massive racist, violent prick".

I tell you one thing about these absolute morons….theyve united NSC on at least 1 topic!!
It is amazing isn't it.

I am sure there are some naysayers on NSC but without 'Das reich' and Bushy to embolden them, they are lost for words.

So you agree that is was wrong of Farage to post inflammatory comments which may have led to riots?
I don’t care what Farage says, no more than I do any other politicians and talking heads in the media waffling on about the mentally ill.

It’s the events dear boy, events that are the issue here, those that bend the truth to suit their narrative are on both sides of the fence so I will take my own view of matters.

As referenced in the Huw Edwards case the truth will sneak out eventually, in his case we can now see very clearly that he was not “mentally ill. Those that protected him and prevented the truth escaping are abettors and just as guilty as Edwards.

The perpetrators of very violent stabbing attacks in recent years have had an underlying root cause, we know this is the truth. Time will tell of course whether the stabbing of the soldier and in Southport will be the same. My personal view is they will.

The Government of course wants social peace and stability so it’s in their interests to manage the truth. As the vast majority of us know, politicians lie, it’s what they do, whatever flavour.

This country has changed in my lifetime and regardless wether you see that as good or bad is irrelevant as we are now dealing with events like this that will continue ad infintum, possibly it could get worse.

No politician, and I doubt even Farage would frame these events so negatively, because the truth would be out…..then the political classes and establishment would have to say, yep sorry, we got it wrong, and here’s the (currently politically unacceptable) way we will deal with it.

Clearly the majority feel the same way as us.

But we don't live in some northern shit hole either who feel they have been left behind.

And also, if we're being honest about this, you almost certainly have anybody who's that much of a twat on ignore already so won't see them. :lolol:
Very true.

But most of them have been banned anyway. My ignored portfolio looks like an obituary list.
