No chance. His protection unit, paid for by us to the tune of approx. £200,000 a year, will stop any would be arrester.

Only those on the losing side in a conflict get indicted for war crimes.

£200,000 a year?? If that is their budget, it's going to be the worst Close Potection outfit in history. Maybe X 10 and you'd be getting close.

For what it is worth, apart from the Hunting Ban (which is a farce!), I also think he is the 2nd best PM this country has ever had after Churchill.

What about Maggie? The second best modern era PM after Churchill?

What exactly did Blair do to help this Country, apart from give away all Maggie's hard-won concessions from the EU, preside over the sale of our Gold Reserves for peanuts, and lose control of the financial sector?

I like this bit...

"Muslims are killed day in and day out [and] most of them [are] women, children and the elderly," he said.

Too bad he left off the part where a fair portion of them are killed by other Muslims.

Especially in the Iraq conflict.

Even if he were the best PM the longer time goes on Blair's name will only be associated with Iraq, probably even more so if you live outside the UK where there is this image of Blair and George W. joined at the hip.

Most of Blairs domestic acheivements were only window dressing - he just created a feel good factor based on a clever marketing machine and fuelled by everyone racking up huge personal and corporate debts and Brown then perpetuated it rather than rein it in. Any positive legacy from Blairs tenure has been wiped out by Brown and Balls.

Many punters will feel we could never surpass those numpties but now Cameron and Clegg are catching them up really fast. We really deserve better but I don't see any politicians of the right calibre who will ever sort out this mess.

Much as i detest blair and the modern day labour party in general, maggie, while doing some good things, she also presided over the sale of our utilities and various other state owned industries for peanuts, are they more efficient? yes, do we get better service ? do me a f***ing favour.
