It only takes a minute to do. I seem to remember Wrexham fans being very supportive of us during the bad times. Come on you know you want to........

Whilst I sympathise with people who want to protect their Club and the ground ... you can't expect the local council to take responsibility for everything that will secure the future.

With potential development value, the Racecourse will be worth more. That isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Remember the petition organised by the Albion Supporters' Club in the early 1990s to get Hove Borough Council to agree to the principle of redevelopment of the Goldstone Ground? That was intended to increase the value of the site and allow the Club to raise a decent size loan to dig us out of the hole we were in.

The alternative - flog the Club to Archer and Stanley for £100 on the promise that they would see us right - didn't exactly work out, did it?

Having said that, I've signed the petition. Fans should stick together.

Thanks from wrexham fans

A quick note to say a big thank you to all brighton fans who have supported us and signed this online petition. :ascarf:

We understand Lord Bracknell's view and grateful for the fans sticking together being the most important one

there are two things
we aren't relying on the local council to take responsibility for everything. far from it we would just like them to be responsible for this one important thing and do the right thing and protect the ground in the LDP.
with the development value of the land that can only be a good thing when the fans decide they want to move, and own the club and can use the profit to build another one if that is what the fans wish for, which they dont. it is also a great risk for the ground not to be secure from planning when the club is in the hands of individuals who sell and walk away with the profits. commonly know as asset stripping. opportunity for greed is very tempting!
