we have had at least one brighton fan every day add their name to the petition. it's been running now for one month. we are already passed half way to our mission target of 10,500 names
A couple of weeks ago I passed your petition link to my gameworld of Football Manager Live, which has players in it from across the world, and I know some of them signed and said they'd pass it on to their friends, so here's hoping.
Frutos,
That was brilliant of you. Cheers.
We have had people adding their names to the petition from across the world and its is helped generate a public awareness that will be vital when this matter is taken to the public inquiry and heard by the planning inspector.
Will keep the Brighton fans updated as your support has been instrumental from day one.
We have now received a reply from the majority owner of WFC and the property development company. He advises he is not too sure what the campaign to protect the Racecourse is and until he has had opportunity to consider all the facts and implications the club board will not be making any statement.
seagullsovergrimsby - Brighton fans were the first to sign the petition in numbers and the support has continued over the 6 weeks. Would estimate about 300 Brighton fans have signed, it is difficult to be accurate as not all add postcode or say the team they support.
Though 300 is a fantastic response !
