My lady friend has been cajoling me to get tested recently. I had to go to the doctor for something else, so while I was there, I asked for the PC blood test. Three Wednesdays ago, I had the blood taken. Friday before last I went to the doctor for him to discuss the results. He said my PSA reading was slightly high, and said he'd do the finger up the bum, there and then, which he duly did. He said my prostate felt a bit "nobbly", and said he'd send me for an MRI scan. I had this in the van at The Amex on Monday this week. About 40 minutes listening to thump, thump, thump and other techno noises, like being a short distance from a Fat Boy Slim gig!
Am now waiting for the results.
I've been very impressed with the speed and the way I've been treated so far.

I have taken to drinking a couple of cartons of cranberry juice a week with no caffeine drinks and a little reduction in alcohol intake.

Good luck with the results mate. My partner is also pretty good at reminding me to get tested. My last psa reading was normal 2 years ago and although I requested another 1 a couple of weeks ago, they didn't test for psa but checked other things and my triglycerides in cholesterol is abnormally high so now on statins! A psa test to follow up in 2 months time (asked well as check cholesterol levels again). Again, good luck with your results.
