The city must be mad to miss this chance of milking the play off final win.

If any celebration is arranged, Jake Robinson must be involved in it. Did you notice how he wasn't involved in any of the celebrations yesterday when players who have made far fewer appearances than him, and all the backroom staff, got in on the act? He could be forgiven for being a bit hurt by that.

We should be looking after Jake, not doing anything that might encourage him to go elsewhere. If he does go, it will be preventable and entirely our club's fault. As far as I know, there's still been no denial from the club that he is going.

Jake was there... and he was thoroughly enjoying himself.

Why does there need to be a denial from the club? Because of a rumour on an Internet Message Board (not even this one!!)?
Come on, let's get serious!!!

And as for being part of the travelling squad - there was only 19 that travelled - the 16 that played plus Adam El-Abd, Chris McPhee and David Lee.

Just because Jake is not currently in the first team picture does not mean he is being frozen out.

For example, Despite being fully fit, Paul Watson wasn't part of the travelling squad either, but he was at the Mill Stad and enjoying the post-match celebrations as much as anybody else - as was Stuart Jones and several others who have featueed in the first team this season.

I agree, no reason why we should make special efforts for a youth team player with a couple of appearances, no matter how promising he is. The team is built around a superb team spirit and nobody should have special treatment.

Dean Blackwell was with the fans in U block because I was talking to him at half time and asking how his training was going.

Stop scaremongering

So how is his training going? Are we still on course to have him back definitely by the start of next season?

He has done some training but has had to stop a couple of times because his knee has swollen. It hasn't settled down completely yet. Not surprising really for a cruciate knee ligament.

Interesting that his namesake played with "N JONES" on his shirt.

I don't remember seeing that before.

Whilst waiting for the pubs to open we saw Watto wandering through the streets with some mates. He seemed to be savouring the moment, despite not playing.

Not sure if he did any of this :drink: before the match though...

Meanwhile back on topic....

I hope there is a victory parade as we do have a trophy to show off even if it did have to be battered back into shape. ;)

Yes, and he was on the pitch at the end with the others.
