Totally this. We have to stay in premier league to enable this to happen. Dropping out of it will be disastrous even if only for 1 season the financial impact would be like 200 million down the drain in terms of just about everything. The better players we have will want out. TV revenues are about 80% lower and it won't be a formality that we bounce straight back. The championship is far more of a slog than premier league and for our players to get better it'll only happen playing against the best.TB and the board's stated aim is for the Albion to become an established Top Ten PL club. Which will be hugely easier to do by staying in this division and building from that, rather than run the risk of relegation and a potential circle of decline in the medium term. PL could be a long time coming round again. 75% focus on today, 25% focus on tomorrow seems by far the wisest course of action IMHO
