On occasion i download a song and when i play it after around 12 seconds it makes a horrible screeching noise, just wondered if anyone else had the same problem? (tends to be only new songs that this happens to)
thanks in advance

Yeah, thats happened to me on a few songs I've downloaded.

I just deleted it and downloaded another version.

if it does make it over here, just do it the old fashioned way --> . . buy it . . copy it / encode it to MP3 .. . take it back "sorry it was a present but my lil brother's already got it"

Record companies put out lots of dodgy versions - I've had ones which repeat over and over and ones which fade out after30 seconds then just stay silent for four minutes.

A bit frustrating, but just makes you want the real version all the more.

I got rid of Kazaa recently but just because of all the annoying pop ups and how it slowed it all down. Still use other ones though.

Make sure you have the latest version of Kazaa lite. Then update the blocked IP list (under tools). This blocks the record company dummy files which have been put out to cause these problems.
You will be immune from any trouble if you dont share (yes I know, selfish in a CPFC sort of way). As soon as you have downloaded anything to your shared folder, move it to another folder. The people letting others download are the ones getting in trouble.
