On a serious note. Where i work all the large buildings such as warehouse,s/offices/stores/etc are green to fit in the countryside (althought they cannot be seen from the road) surely if Falmer is an AONB why is the stadium not green/etc to blend in ?

The South Downs National Park coming into being got rid of the AONB designation I believe. And the park boundaries skirt awfully conveniently round the stadium site...

Where is the stadium in these photo's, looks like the architects have kept their side of the bargain. It just blends in so well. Unlike for example, the Britannia in Stoke which slaps you straight in the face the moment you come off the M6

Tomnorthi, is there any chance you coulde return to that spot and take that photo again when the stadium is complete? thats a quality pic and would like to see it again with the stadium complete. Its now my desktop background :blush:
