in my defence i got told st georges day was 23rd March - same day as the England kit , just as it was the year before etc...

There's not really much you can do with the base colours. Apart from adding a red flash, or stripe etc...that's it. A departure from all white won't be tolerated and they're not going to change the colours like they did with the Albion home kit (a LIGHTER shade of the traditional blue? Ye Gods!)

IMHO, the England shirt would've been better with a collar.
