Thanks Bozza,

We’ve decided we will do a drop off at the Vatican(Safe Bar) and a second drop off at Termini Station
Keep in mind those going to Termini that it’s not a great area in the evening times and approximate arrival time after the game would be 10.35-10.50pm
Anyone wanting to have some beers and food without any worry/stress after the game then I’d suggest you take the Vatican stop and later taxi share back to Termini which would cost 20-25, max 30€ in 3/4

Many thanks for this Sean.

I have just booked and requested drop off at Termini. It will be straight back to my hotel after (y)

@SeanInRome thanks for all your information on here first of all, very much appreciated.

Do you have a deadline for booking or max number of places? Also do you get a mix of ages? I will be with my 17 year old son who wanted to know if it would just be "oldies"? :lolol:
I’ve just booked 2 places for me and my 17 year old daughter, if that influences your son’s decision 😂

Just had the voucher for the match day transfer which also includes a 2 hour guided walk beforehand (optional). Will probably look to do that as it ends up at the meeting point near the Vatican.
It's a good option isn't it? I like the idea of getting out and about for a coffee in the morning then a walk round the sights and a beer before setting off

I’ve booked with Sean. I don’t want another Marseille style bus nightmare.

That's where I go to with it in the end. I don't want to be there 3 hours before kick off or run the risk of missing it both of which happened in Marseille and need to be factored in here. Moreover, I don't want to be at the back of the queue for buses on the way home and be stuck in the stadium for eternity. This seems like about the best option there is.

Another one here who has booked with Sean. Similar reasons as others; I don’t want to miss the first set of coaches away from the stadium after the match, like in Marseille, and be stuck there for ages. I’ll be getting off at the Vatican for beers after the game but staying closer to termini (Hotel Borromeo) so happy to share a taxi back in that direction later on if that suits anyone?
Solo traveller here 👋

I’m staying near Termini too (Hotel Diana Roof Garden). Initially I was thinking I’d get the coach back directly to Termini, but the idea of a few post match drinks near the Vatican and then a cab back to the hotel sounds appealing (depending on the result, how long we’re kept back for and how grumpy my daughter is getting by that stage)

I'm exactly the same as you and Sevenoaks. Termini but may hang out for an our or so afterwards and cab it back.

Just far enough away from LDC

I have booked with my kids too (one of which is also a 17 yr old). Suspect us oldies can drink their welcome drinks ourselves:)
