I'm as anti Tory as they come but this is a bit of a nonsense isnt it.

We are talking about grown men here. Get a grip.

I imagine she has been subjected to all sorts of sexist undertones and had to work twice as hard to get to where she is in that line of work.

Get on with it

I very politely asked you to stop trolling me.

Nobody is "trolling you".

You write utter rubbish on the internet, some of which (and certainly in this case) is very offensive.

I disagree sometimes and point that out.

I get that you struggle with logic, but the reason you get so upset with my posts is that they are proving you to be completely and totally wrong on a regular basis.

That is the opposite of "trolling".

You put your opinions out there. What do you expect?

Again, it is very funny that you are being an apologist for bullying in the workplace but at the same time crying to mummy because people disagree with you. Grow up or go home.

Bloody Worthing!
Rumoured that she'll be moved on in a Cabinet re-shuffle in the new year to the chairman of the Tory party role. At least there if she shouts and screams at colleagues they'll be fellow Tories and (presumably) soak it up. This de facto demotion is apparently based on her failure to deal effectively with the migrant issue rather than her propensity to rant at civil servants.

You proved you can’t keep up. The debate evolved. Take your meds and hush now. We’re leading, so put a sock in it. I’m listening to the game.

Exhibit A.

Offensive, angry nastiness, and posted during the match!

You stoop so low that people must trip over you. But apparently I'm "trolling you".

If you are female and from an ethnic minority, you need more than a thick skin and hard work to sit amongst the privileged white male Eton/Oxbridge types in a Tory government.

She is a sociopath like Thatcher and the posh boys love her.

FACT CHECK - Chicken Run is talking utter shite as per.

HWT is an opinionated old ****, as are many of us. A bully? You've been on the meths again haven't you.

I bear no grudges with you but I don’t recall swapping dialogue with you in such a way that would induce such nastiness?

What are you on about Chicks? We've crossed swords on many occasions and it's always good natured joshing.

I even replied to your subsequent post in good nature and gave it the thumbs up!

portlock is screaming for a policeman because I don't agree with his support for bullying. Bit different mate.

Untrue as usual i.e. experiencing and understanding why people can scream and shout in the workplace from time to time is very different to 'supporting', what complete nonsense you write. As for your morality, the hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness is breathtaking. You're the very definition of a troll and cyber-bully (ironically) e.g. calling others c***s on social media and seemingly obsessed with attacking anything I post and taking delight from doing so. I've been very civil asking you to stop trolling me, put me on ignore etc if you can't stand opinions, all of which you've ignored because you seemingly can't help yourself/get kicks from constantly doing so.

Just a couple of points on this, who here has not been on the end of a tongue lashing ? It can be pretty common in the frontline 'get things done' private sector. Second Matt Hancock at the start of CV19 kept on stating that in government everyone was working 'incredibly hard' well what were they doing in the face place then ? Tea and biscuits all round ?

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what happens in the private sector, military, Portlock's boardrooms, or where ever else, ministers have a code of conduct they sign up to like various other professions, all of which have different expectations and codes of behaviour.

Whether you agree with that code of conduct as being too stringent is a different debate, she broke her code of conduct as it currently stands.

Most of the debate about whether a tongue lashing is normal in other sectors is completely irrelevant. She has been found to have broken the code of conduct that applies to her role. Simple really.

Never in my career have I been subject to, or witnessed anthing close to the actions that Priti Patel has dished out.

Bloody well does matter what's going on in the private sector, because as you know the Public sector won't be paying the bill, just bleating about how cash starved it is !!

Not happened to me or anyone I've worked with in 14 years in 1 job and 9 in another.

I wouldn't worry too much as LlcoolJ thinks Winston Churchill was uneducated and didn't know what he was talking about when it comes to political/economic systems so we are all in good company when it comes to facing his wrath.

Just to say this seems a very strange thread as the OP appears to be complaining that people with partisan opinions are inconsistent in their criticisms ... well duh.

To be sure, Boris isn't much good - indeed I'd go so far as to say he's pretty shit - but anyone who seriously compares him to mad Trump, trying to engineer a Hitler-like coup in the United States, even at the expense of a terrible blood bath if/when his NRA supporting nutjobs and other right wing loonies start piling in, needs to give their head a wobble.
Trump's madness will, if unchecked, cost lives all over the USA - and the mad ar*ehole has still got access to the nuclear button! Britain is a different place - the worst Johnson can do is take us out of the EU, with probably some damage to our collective economy. Bloodshed - or no bloodshed - which of the two unloved options would you choose?

Or, completely mishandle how to deal with a deadly virus sweeping around the world and end up with the highest death rate in Europe ? That's his bloodshed.

I have whilst on engineer back in the early 80s, wasn't seen as an issue then. Ex army military types who thought they were still on the parade ground
