Left back, then keeper, then striker and finally a midfielder.

Cant get excited about the transfer window. We always say we are getting someone and, well, nothing much happens

We need a more solid look, and that means getting a left-back. The strikers will start scoring, and Hammond will get his shooting boots back.

Having said that, get Quincy from Arsenal - he's different class

LDC to drop any JR

Then a Centre Forward who can score us 15 goals from Christmas to the end of tyhe Season.

then a Left back with a left foot.

Chippy in the middle with Hammond is OK IMO

It HAS to be a CENTRAL midfielder! I'd rather we blow all our money on this position as it has been the area we have been most lacking for YEARS! We lose Chippy to an injury and look at us! Even Chippy isn't what I would call a great passer of the ball either!

Please can we get someone who is PROVEN and not likely to keep the bed in sick bay warm either a la Kitson & Dodd!

A creative midfielder would be nice but we have other priorities. In a few weeks time Carpenter will be back so with him and Hammond plus the French wingers I don't think that's too bad.

1. A left back is an absolute must. Reid was awful on saturday there but will be fine when he reverts to right back. Hart is NOT the answer. We should have signed Jon Harley in the summer. Left footed, likes to get forward, cheap ( 70k) and a southerner. Missed a trick there.

2. A striker. We simply must find someone who can score reguarly at this level or we'll be relegated. Virgo's goals last year kept us up. A proper striker is a MUST.

3. Goalkeeper - Quite clearly the Frenchman was a panic buy, the kids aren't ready so we need another keeper - Henderson or Blayney.

To get rid of:

McPhee
Turienzo ( a mistake)
Molango ( permanent move to Lincoln)
Nicholas

All well and good, but these players are out of contract and the chances are nobody is going to want them. After all, we wanted Molango to go to Lincoln permantley in the summer and they would only take him on a season long loan. Now he hardly set the world alight for them, so the chances are he will be back here in May.
