preston park area- anyone else just hear a steam trian?

jst a thought, will steam trains be allowed into stations, when the smoking ban comes in?

We all looked out of our window at it at PP station (our house is so close that our windows are stained by the smoke from the steam engine days). There was a fire tender filling it up with water.

We could see the fire and EVERYTHING!

Has no one else wondered what a trian is? Is it some form of three legged alian or something? Presumably a steam trian would be pretty scary therefore, hence the posting?

I remember when the Flying Scotsman did a farewell tour of Britain. We knew it was going from Brighton to Portsmouth en route so we all line up on Fishersgate bridge to see it.
