Lancing
Can anyone shed any light on why AJ may be standing on the sideline behind Gross every time he takes a corner?

I was wondering if it's to pull a defender out wide leaving more space for our four standing on the penalty spot

glad I've stayed up to the small hours for that...

I shall be going to bed now. Hopefully Gyokeres can get a bit more involved, all the attacking play seems to be coming from the Ally mac, ali j, gross triumvite and bypassing the g man. The other two youngsters are faring better I think. None of the defense have had too much to do but he has fitted in nicely. Sanders is looking decent. Getting involved all over the pitch. Good to see.

Hopefully we'll get some goals second half and the kids can continue to impress/get involved more.

Lightweight. Seriously.

:lolol:

Man Utd probably not too worried at the moment

Oh yeh because this is the team we will field against United.

Some of you need to get a grip. Its a pretty decent performance away from Home to a team who were pushing for playoffs last season. Portsmouth are shite compared to this lot.

Overall I would say its been a fairly good half for us. Saunders and Roberts doing well at this level are huge positives and Steele has done himself no harm to push for that 2nd choice spot. Veltman looks good and Bernardo has enough about him to step into Marches boots if needed Saturday.

The wonders of modern technology, that you can get an obscure early round Caribo cup game in an empty stadium transmitted to Japan.

looks more like a training game. Only a few look like they could be pushing the first 11. Mac and Ali really need to up their game...

And insufficient dribbles.

No one in that team can dribble. Not one of our offensive players (Argie, AJ, Gross, Gyokeres). It’s why their not in the first team as they don’t offer that something different to Trossard or Lallana. Suppose we can just give the ball to Lamptey.
