Perhaps it is a no, do you think he would 'let on' while he is at the conference in Brighton or find it easier to announce it when he is safely back in his office?

I hope it is a yes, i hope that fans encourage everyone they know to become fans. A new stadium means nothing if there is still only 6500 people in it. No more cracks about 'johnny come latelys' Encourage people to start filling withdean now and that will start the ball rolling towards filling a new stadium.

I really, really hope that it is a yes and wish JP takes the opportunity to announce it while he is in Brighton.

It's gonna be yes, but with caveats. We will get the stadium, but there will be two options for location.

One at Sheepcote, which we can get with no further planning action, the government will part fund it, add transport routes, subsidise tickets, and arrange for Brazil to be the first match there. It will form a central part of Olympics 2012, and all England matches will be played there. Nimbys will be shot on sight, and Prescott will personally allocate £25M for transfers.

If we want Falmer, John Prescott is going to demand Ernest as his own personal plaything.

I vote we hand Ernest over on completion of the march.

Personally, I think it's a positive thing that Prescott mentioned it.

He could have not mentioned it at all, instead choosing to concentrate on internal, domestic and international issues. However, he is obviously well aware of what the burning issue in the host city is at present. And he was addressing those who do want a stadium, not those who do not.

Prescott hates NIMBYs. FACT.

It's got to be good news. The Labour spin doctors would try to bury it totally unless it was a positive response.

Is there going to be an NSC all night party if he says YES?
