There were chaotic scenes in Parliament today as a close aide of John Prescott suffered an horrific injury whilst lifting a box of letters.
The letters are believed to be 1,000s of messages from football fans around the country, in support of Brighton and Hove Albion's proposed new stadium at Falmer.
Mr Prescott was quoted as saying "We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the number of letters in support of Brighton's new Stadium. When my assistant lifted the box comtaining the letters he was totally unprepared for the strain on his intestines. We heard a yell of pain and turned to find him crouched down with his arse hanging out"
A spokesman for Brighton and Hove Albion said "Marvellous scenes"
