prepare for surprise

just for the record, only mentioning the profile of someone who has applied for the vacancy, the decisions are down to DK,though personally i would definitely give him the job.

I have it on very good authority from an inside sauce that the leading contenders are:

Bobby Crush, Mike Grady, Dustin Gee(rip) and the geezer who played 'Ted' in Hi-de-Hi. My sauce tells me that Grady, for his work on Citizen Smith and the Fulham connection therein, is currently the front runner.

Kenny don't worry, all these post count muppetts wont talk to you until you have had at least 100+ posts, they believe it is their board! and the only reason they have loads of posts is cause they post stupid things like "What colour shirt shall I wear to work" BORING!

I should Tigana would take one look at this club then say "non" bearing in mind our set up.

However there would be some interesting signings if he did, moules and frites anyone ?

Not at all.

First time posters can be very intriguing individuals. The other day there was a newbie called triptolemus who started a thread about ten year old planning applications relating to the Goldstone Ground.

The original Triptolemus was a Greek god of agriculture.

I was puzzled as to who the NSC poster was and why he'd chosen to raise this topic in the week before the Falmer Public Inquiry resumed, particularly since Falmer Parish Council had mentioned the Goldstone applications in the first few days of the Inquiry.

After a bit of probing, our triptolemus admitted to having an interest in agriculture, having been a hop farmer some years ago.

Curiously, it transpires that Tom Carr, Chairman of Falmer Parish Council, used to be a hop farmer as well.

Funny old world, eh?

Now... who the hell is kenny b?

Hither and Thither
you are the man Lord B.

.... of course we'll get good applications for the job, there are lots of managers out of work. Will they still be interested after we tell them the deal, including funds for players.

What is the point in getting a 'high profile' manager ? We need somebody who is well grounded in the harsh financial realities of a team in our position like a Cotterill or a Dowie, somebody who knows the score and won't throw a wobbly when he realises that there's scant funds available for team building a la Petra Taylor.
