What are the consequences for any of these not happening?

For instance, if a substituted player wanders away from the nearest point of exit, is it a mandatory booking? If already booked, would it prevent the substitution being made?

I think this would prevent the sub being made. The substitution is only complete when the player leaves the field of play, so if he's sent off beforehand, he can't then be replaced. Seem to recall there was a hypothetical question like this asked when I was at a ref's course years ago.

Just to clarify these law amendments apply to all football as they are issued by IFAB. In addition whomever wins the coin toss get to choose either kick off or which end they prefer to attack, currently they only get the option to choose ends
