Not overly, what use is potter if Boehly will just scatter gun transfers?

Potter could transform them, he could be gone in 16 Months

Hope you’re right.

Have a horrible feeling that Boehly will let Potter and Kyle Macauley lead recruitment.

Dumping the Chavs 19 year approach of buying the latest ultra expensive flavour of the month.

According to the Telegraph, which seems to have been very well briefed from the Chelsea end throughout all this, one of the bones of contention was that Tuchel didn’t want the transfer responsibilities that were being asked of him.

I did post the exact excerpt in another thread earlier.

That would back up the thought/rumour this was done weeks ago.

Would you trust him not to get bored in a few months and buy players again?

Nothing about Boehly has come across other than trying to impress fans by throwing money around

Times saying PL and EFL meeting to discuss tomorrow morning

They only need to look back to 1952 when football matches continued after the death of King George VI with the usual minutes silence before kick off. To me it makes no sense to cancel all games foe ten days. It the state funeral is next weekend, then I would understand why that round of fixtures would be called off.

I suspect he’s a cnt, but an ultra rich cnt who’ll do anything (including breaking FFP) to win.

The EPL’s shaping up with Saudis, Citeh, Manure and Chelsea, outgunning the rest over the next 2 or 3 seasons.

If Conte, Klopp and Arteta can win the big prizes in that landscape, I’ll be surprised and relieved.

Although Kroenke’s doing it too, £300m player spend in 3 windows, mysteriously without CL income [we’ve commented on that before].

I watched a programme on Operation ‘London Bridge’ a few years ago I’m sure all sporting events are to be cancelled during the D+9 days period also limited or no comedy on BBC (definitely no satire), radio music playlists much subdued etc

Better get used to this. The Daily Mail will be gunning for anyone deemed to be having fun for the next couple of weeks. I trust you’re all wearing your black armbands at all times?
