In the event that Selhurst Park is redeveloped, the current residents may need to relocate for a while. Possibly even to the South Coast.

Would the good people of NSC be in favour of ground sharing?

Piss off Derek, look at the Championship, with so many big and glamorous clubs - Leeds, Forest, Derby, Norwich, BHA, Birmingham, Boro, Wednesday, Wolves etc. Then take at how many underwhelming fixtures there are for fans in the Premier League - Stoke, Burnley, Hull, Palace, Swansea, Southampton, West Brom, Sunderland etc.

No problem at all, although Charlton would be the obvious choice, given Charlton played at Selhurst for a few seasons in the late 80s. Good luck to Palace whatever they decide to do.

Re: The thread title - maybe by that time, the Albion will be playing in the Premier League anyway?

Your idea/suggestion is probably a non-starter, but what would happen if it DID and the above was true? For our 'away' game, would our fans have to go and sit in the south stand, of our own stadium? That would be a bit odd.

But like I say, I can't see it happening, regardless of how much money Palace were willing to pay BHAFC.

It would never get past the council but lest we forget that Gillingham got £480,000 out of us for the honour of playing there. Of they stumped up with the cash then no problem. Of course that's easy for me to say as I live nowhere near the ground.

As long as we initially charge them a hundred times the proper ground share price so we actually get the proper value from them when they go bust again and pay off their debts at a rate of a penny in the pound as they usually do.

We've got enough plastics of our own without having Palace's 10k armchair plastics coming down to watch their first teams - Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, Spurs, Man Utd and Liverpool in the flesh every other week, albeit at an award winning, state of the art stadium.

I think the general consensus is it's a good idea and it would be nice to help them out but it's probably not going to happen.

Never happen in a million years.
But the thought of loads of Palace descending on Brighton every other week would be interesting

Can't imagine the old bill will agree to an escort up West Street every other weekend.

Wouldn't need an escort.
Thousands of Palace roaming the streets, just like the old days !
