The season we went up we lost £8m. We have made a small profit each season since.

You lot have racked up losses of £25m and £40m in the past two seasons. Strange, but there you go.

Yeah, yeah, but what about your ugly old fashioned decrepit fess pit of a ground, eh?
Two can play at whataboutery.

Really don't want to get into some whataboutery with Palace goons but it is a well known fact that pretty much all the teams in the Championship incur huge losses while chasing the holy grail of Premier League money. Just because the clubs make a loss doesn't mean they have debts, it just means they spend more than they made, and they are usually kept afloat by rich owners/chairmen.

Especially when those goons don't understand deprecation. I suppose, to be fair, they haven't had anything new to depreciate for a while. Although the cladding must add £1 a year to their losses.

It is a well known fact that the earth is round but that does not stop some people believing differently

What this thread really needs is a poll on why the said accounts are late,
Is it,

A. Just really bad administration
B. Some kind of financial jiggery pokery to get them out of a hole.
C. The opening gambit on Administration 3.
D. They couldn’t afford a stamp.

Or,

Wilf was meant to do it, but, he was too busy saving them from relegation.

E. Trying to hide some financial issue until the planning application is finalised?

Normal for a promotion chasing club, fully funded within the means of the owner, expected and budgeted for - not weird at all.

Only club not to have filed accounts on time, and with previous for dodgy accounting and shafting it's creditors. Weird - or at least raises suspicions that something fishy might be going on.

Im voting for B. Got to be hiding something, you would like to think a Premier League club even if it is that lot couldnt just forget.

F. Just waiting on Zaha passing his final ACCA exams so he can get cracking on the books.
