[Albion] Premier League 9-11/3/24

Am guessing they are pretty spread around with Welbeck to the fore 🤷‍♂️

Most goals by subs is us? Ashamed to say I haven’t a clue who that is 🙃
Considering we often finish with a better team we start with, I agree.

I don’t know sometimes if it’s just bias but week in week out I watch the PL I see the same shit, Is it just unconcious bias by referees because they are scared of certain managers or is it more than that? Havertz should have been off for the dive and then blatant smash after the ball had gone just after.

Booo! They really are the most odious team in the league. And that's a league that contains a lot of odious teams. Frank's curt handshake tells its own story.
They'll be saying Liverpool and City get decisions in their favour, their fans will be saying the others do. The fact is, they all do, all in the name of fitting the PL 'title race' narrative.

Why can't the interviewers ffs ask "why did you dive Kai and should you have been on the pitch?"

Interesting that at least two Brentford players waved imaginary cards after the dive. They didn't get booked either. As VAR will have checked the incident to see if it was a penalty - surely it's time that they could advise the ref 'clear dive' and suggest a booking? That would go some way to stamp out diving.
Yes, it is time - but unfortunately GMOL - or is it IFAB? - have decided to set proscriptive rules about when VAR can or cannot intervene - which unfortunately means that common sense is eliminated and VAR cannot do the good things it could if it wasn't hamstrung.
Leaving it essentially just there in practice to see if there's any possible way to rule out a goal.
