Sad to say I am already looking at relegation rivals losing to save our skin when I was hoping for the bliss of mid table. Chelsea 2-1 Sheff Utd

You should know how to play this by now.....its always the Brighton way :D

Likewise, although still confident we’ll be ok.

We're well aware of our deficiencies.

It's all well and good playing shit sides like yours off the park if we can't convert our superiority into the goals that matter.

But this trolling won't be permitted. Last warning.

On that basis I guess I better not post any comments on today’s games on here for fear of collateral damage. :(

I assumed he was referring to Leeds possession, not our last meeting.

Look, that's fine.

I just don't think an Albion fan rocking up on one of your forums with a snide back-hander would last more than 10 seconds.

As I said, we're well aware of our team deficiencies - we'd don't saracstic wankers from your lot to highlight them. Particularly, as others have pointed out, that the poster in question goes missing for great periods of time when your lot are going through another shit spell.

Bit harsh IMO....let him have his time in the sun...we will certainly want ours if & when it is our turn.

He didn’t just post to celebrate their win, with the privilege of being a visitor from rivals, he came to make a snide comment about us.

Other fans forums permanently ban visitors after making just one sly dig.

I actually came on here to say that, if Bamford was deemed offside as a result of him pointing where he wanted the ball to be played, then VAR is still being misused.

It was a great move and the goal should have stood.

As to Leeds supposed amazing fitness, they visibly wilted early on in the second half.

Must admit I can't believe 1 win in 8 games still sees us outside the bottom three. Doesn't say much about the quality of the league this season. The one plus is that it might be an all time low in terms of points needed to stay up at this rate.

I just removed a piece of pasta stuck in the hole where I once had a tooth. Multiple hours of struggling.

Slightly off topic but this is the best thing that happened to me in weeks so I felt I need to share it with someone.

What do we want from West Ham vs Fulham?
Either a draw or West Ham win imo.

Good question!

West Ham win = Fulham kept in their place below us but there will be a wider gap above us.
Draw = Neither of them has gained anything on us over this weekend's fixtures.
Fulham win = they go above us, but both remain well within catching distance and we gain a point on West Ham.

I really don't know about this one. Six of one and half a dozen of the other. A Fulham win also might not be a bad thing as our chances of finishing higher than them look higher than us above West Ham.

Things depend on what we and not these teams do.

Was it 'al dente'?

Its not that uncommon. In 18/19 five teams had 5 points or less after matchday 8.

Depends what you mean by quality. Eight games in and there is only a four point difference between first and tenth.

That’s way better than one or two teams already ten points ahead of the rest of the league, surely.

Who needs 60% possession when you do sfa with it :lolol:

Can we expect more of these results?

Were your goals typical Palace?

One amazing free-kick: How many do you see of those per season?

One fantastic header from a set-piece: I’ve not seen Palace score those type of goals since Scott Dann was on form many years ago. A one off surely?

One astonishing fluke of a own goal: The spin and line of the ball is amazing to behold, it looks like someone is steering it in.

One consolation goal with awful defending by Dirty Leeds and an almost open goal for the Striker where the keeper gets a lot on the ball but it still somehow spins in off the post.
