I wasn't expecting to look forward to this season quite as much as I am. I was trying to explain it to a non-football friend - and it came down to asking was there anything that got them leaping off their settee, punching the air, and hugging everyone at 10pm (Welbeck header at the Bridge). Looking forward to more of those moments.

Up The Albion.

Jesus is looking good, although obviously not worth £60M+ I seem to remember he was a wanker at the Amex

In the BBC live text updates they keep referring to the Palace squad being split in half for pre season. Does anyone know why?

They went to Aussieland but only half of them have Covid clearance.
