Well just watched MOTD..near the end again despite what happened in the game...how can MK not see that there was a penalty shout when Murray went down....no replaying of Andone's brilliant goal in the chat bit....useless the lot of them

The bbc have seem to have been p1ssd off with this result as much as the scummy Palace fans, this morning when I turned th bbc news on they mentioned all the other games played last night and not ours. Just going on about the gazzilion spending power some how amazingly managed to beat Watford, where you would not even have to look for the score to know the result. Ducking boring.

It was a clear penalty. Murray got the ball, then tapped it a few yards further with his right leg, and Tomkins ran into him, making it impossible for Glenn's left leg to catch up with his right. It was a clear foul in the box.

I thought it might be very brief ... the rarity of all 10 matches in one MOTD, plus bias towards ‘big’ clubs.

Quite, they were whinging it wasn't a corner on MOTD failing to realise that probably the only reason a penalty wasn't given at the time was because Mr Friend thought their player had got the ball first not Murray

Indeed. We are approaching Christmas and Southampton's only league win of the entire season was at Selhurst.

Wasn't that the game when the little billy boys threw their toys as they weren't allowed to move seats? They didn't show up so the cauldron of noise was not there to intimidate Park Life Charlie and his mates.

Or Fortress Selhurst as I believe it's know as:

I'm guessing perhaps he wasn't sure he got the first decision right too, and didn't want to give both decisions to the same team.

Would've been funny if Tomkins had persuaded Friend to give another penalty with his 'I didn't touch the ball' stupidity.

That is a double whammy of a beautiful stat.

Apparently, it was the first time for 8 years that, in a full round of Premier League fixtures, all 20 teams scored.
