Brentford’s absentee list has been worse than ours and most teams this season. Feel a bit sorry for them, they just don’t have the squad to cope with it. Doing really well considering.
3 points out of 21 if it stays like this today...I'd hate to think what doing badly would constitute

Shows how blooming well we’ve done.

Also how lucky the likes of palace are that they have had so little injuries and just played us, Chelsea and Brentford who have dozens out between them. Luck always shines on the franchise.

Shit results all round so far today.

Hopefully Burnley can nick something. Still a chance we can catch Villa.
But Palace still in 13th place, 4 points behind the Cherries who have two games in hand.

Newcastle are next playing Liverpool- a loss for the Toons there will allow us to retain 9th position (EDIT 8th, I mean!) even if we lose to WHU. If we beat WHU, and Man U draw or lose to Forest today, we will go to 6th.

The middle of the table is incredibly close still halfway through the season which isn’t unusual so it’s all a bit ‘scary’ but there’s little chance we’ll catch AV this season (and Burnley are down to 10 men anyway) but it’s nice wishful thinking.

Agree with that, except we are 8th!

I just hope Burnley do a Villa now. 10 head injuries and 2 minutes per throw in or goal kick. (Well it seemed that long last season)

Very soft penalty hit the cross bar and Villa fans suddenly find their voice. I hate Villa more than Palace today.

Keeper “injuring“ his shoulder when saving and falling and lying on the ground wincing too, works well in time wasting.

How are Villa so lucky :lolol:

Unfortunately that was a penalty, very soft but Burnley player miscontrolled it and caught the underside of the Villa players boot
