Olsen must be so pissed off with Ancelotti.

That wasn't a penalty in a million years. Gomez swung his foot to kick the ball and Wilson ran in front of him. Nothing Gomez could do, he was completely unaware that Wilson was there. VAR is an utter utter disgrace. Again.

At least it's something to talk about in an otherwise dull as ditchwater game.

It's pretty frustrating watching pretty shit teams pick up points regularly while we flounder.

If we could somehow marry the best of Hughton with the best of Potter we'd be such a good side.

Brazen hypocrisy and bias from Chris Waddle on 5live just then.

When we drew at Bramhall Lane this year, in commentary he was absolutely scathing of the Albion. The only team "with nothing about them" in the PL, anti-football, deserve to go down.

Full of praise for Steve Bruce and their style of play, "Bruce is operating on buttons. The style will come when they have a player budget".

Cough:
Joelinton £40m
Almiron £20m
Saint-Maxim £20m
14th in the EPL wages league.

Whilst the Albion are still operating in the bottom 6 financially, according to @El Pres last week.

Great footballer and seemed a nice enough guy from afar but never struck me as the sharpest tool in the box

It’s looking like a much more even league this season but we’re failing to take the opportunity to join the mid-table mash up. Could really do with a surprise result this evening to avoid getting cut adrift at the bottom. I can’t see it but then that’s the whole point of surprise results, isn’t it?

I've just seen the Villa result.

Can someone, as objectively as possible, please talk me through the injury time clock.

Unsurprisingly, in recent games, I've had quite some fascination with the +90 minutes.
I'm yet to see a game go beyond 10 seconds of the allotted time, although in fairness, I'm also yet to see an 'incident packed' injury time.

It seems like I missed my first 'compare and contrast' match.

There weren't any +30 seconds substitutions.
But there was 2 goals and a penalty.

How long was originally put up?
How long was actually played?
Did the time differential (assuming there was one) seem fair?

I'm not entirely sure that's something worth noting let alone arguing against with any form of reason.

Elsewhere in the world, Zlatan keeps banging them in. Scored this one today: https://streamye.com/v65ws

39 years old, 17 goals in 22 appearances since returning to Milan. The man is unique. Would love to see him play one final tournament with Sweden but not going to happen.

Just saw this on MOTD this morning what a joke of a decision and Kevin Friend involved again. Scary the level of contact that now leads to a penalty and how VAR does not determine that to be a dive after looking at the replay is a mystery.

Scary the level of contact that now leads to a penalty for liverppol and manchester united
