Lopetegui definitely getting sacked
New manager bounce just before we play them, natch, just as it will be with Leicester.

Failure to deliver clean-sheets, it was Luton’s undoing, makes it an extra difficult task for a promoted side to get sufficient wins. Whilst their relegation competition such as Everton and CP do that enough every season to give their forwards opportunities to earn 3 points.

Blimey, just seen the match stats at Leicester. West Ham have peak Klopp/Guardiola attacking stats, yet are heading for a loss.

Well tonight perhaps but generally they've been as shite as their results.

I don't know if their squad is actually a lot better than their current 14th place, but ramping up disaster results is ominous anyway.

Wonder if they'll go with Sergio Conceicao or Graham Potter. Two VERY different directions.

Talksport here are consistent, even this week, that Potter turned down West Ham in the summwr.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Flynn Downes and Tyler Dibling suspended for Southampton vs Chelsea.
Feels like Chelsea are playing everyone when they're at their weakest. Think we would have sleepwalked the game with those gone.

Probably because of still getting a bunch of money from Chelsea at that point.
Not sure their ideas suit him either, they mainly signed a bunch of ~30 year olds this summer. They've been building to be worse next year and a lot of managers won't be horny for that.

Yep I said the same yesterday. I also see Chelsea are continuing in their always being drawn at home in the domestic cups trend.

They are really grinding my gears atm. Hopefully they'll get some overdue bad luck soon.

A) it's irrelevant to our game. B) it fails to mention they haven't played either Chelsea or Arsenal in those 8 games and have a win and a draw against each of Palace, Spurs, Brentford and West Ham. If it's 9 after Arsenal visit at the weekend I might raise a grudging nod of appreciation in their direction.
