Brentford only has 3 men outside the 6 yard box on delivery. Bodies in the box failed.

Arsenal always place a player on the keeper who "gets" in the way. Brentford allowed him, as others do, to dictate. You need your non-defenders to engage and clear the way for the keeper.

Problem, such as we have, are modern keepers are slight athletes not brick outhouses. They never dominate the area. The second Arsenal was pathetic goalkeeping. Man up and be strong, not flap flap. could you imagine the likes of Dave Beasant being knocked about by a little player marking him?

I do wonder if we left Lamptey and Mitoma up, would Arsenal risk 2 on 2 at the back or leave 3. Whichever, it would certainly clear out our 6 yard box a bit

That or just fall over early and get a foul. Dive. That kind of thing. Brentford keeper was weak, got pushed about and flapped.

Either way we need to be inventive over this on Saturday as they will have corners.
