No doubt the Gallagher brothers will now come out and claim they've always supported Liverpool and Citeh was just a home town thing.

Nah give them credit. They could've been Utd fans, but were always City. Or at least give Noel credit, because he's not an unbearable ****.

Doubt it. One of them was interviewed on the radio last week and was very philosophical about it, but was moaning about how entitled his son was as he’d never known anything other than City winning stuff

Pep kept holding up 6 fingers. Is 115 divisible by 6?

Dias at the back was the mouthiest, moan-ying bastard performance I have seen.

Thought City would get something so I'm glad they didn't.

I think this is the problem you have when you dominate in the first half, but don't make it count. We could have easily gone in 2, 3 or even 4 up after 45 minutes, but we didn't. So what do you do as a manager? It's hard to make changes, because it seems to be working. Aside from the finishing. But the other manger is probably giving his players the hairdryer treatment and will change things around. The trouble is, you don't know what they'll change so you don't know what you might need to counter it. And it could take 20 minutes before it really becomes clear.
So all the tactical momentum is on your opponent.
I see your point (s) but it is better to be 1-0 up at home to a bottom of the table team at half-time. We should be able to push on or just keep a clean sheet. The second half was dreadful and was only bearable after the VAR.

We'd been knocked out by Sudbury Town on penalties I think?

After a replay. With the first and second rounds of the League Cup still being over 2 legs back then (we lost to Birmingham in the first round) we'd actually played 25 games by December 1st 1996.

Absolutely. I'd rather be 1-0 up than 0-0 or worse, trailing.

Out of all the 'Big 6', Liverpool fans are the most bearable and that's a saying something. Therefore, I'd rather them win it.
Can't stand them, the Brighton Kop, the majority who phone up 5L or TS have southern accents. Would love to see them mess up the title, sadly can't see it happening. Plastic fantastic.
