So pushing someone in the back is okay? This wasn’t a shoulder to shoulder thing, literally pushed him away from the ball.Nope. Not a foul.

Nothing wrong with it, you’ll see loads of those in a game, defenders do it all the time and nothing is given. So pushing someone in the back is okay? This wasn’t a shoulder to shoulder thing, literally pushed him away from the ball.
Were you watching on a radio?Nothing wrong with it, you’ll see loads of those in a game, defenders do it all the time and nothing is given.
If a ref gives it then so be it but it’s certainly not one for VAR to get involved in.
There are lots of people who clearly the think the same as me and those who think the same as you. This goal is a perfect illustration of why VAR will NEVER work in football. It’s just too subjective. Were you watching on a radio?
He’s right.Poch - VAR 'has damaged English football'
Yeah defenders do it all the time, but the ref misses them, and they don’t always lead to a goal so VAR can’t then get involved. This led to a goal, so absolutely one for VAR to get involved in.Nothing wrong with it, you’ll see loads of those in a game, defenders do it all the time and nothing is given.

Absolutely not. The ref saw it and didn’t give it. I don’t believe it’s a foul, lots of people agree with my view, some don’t, ultimately it’s subjective. This sort of thing was not what VAR was supposed to get involved with.Yeah defenders do it all the time, but the ref misses them, and they don’t always lead to a goal so VAR can’t then get involved. What surprised me is that the ref did have a clear view and didn't give it, because it was a clear push to gain an advantage. I was expecting him to blow straight away.Absolutely not. The ref saw it and didn’t give it. I don’t believe it’s a foul, lots of people agree with my view, some don’t, ultimately it’s subjective. Each to their own but clear foul for me, goal correctly disallowed.Absolutely not. The ref saw it and didn’t give it. I don’t believe it’s a foul, lots of people agree with my view, some don’t, ultimately it’s subjective. This sort of thing was not what VAR was supposed to get involved with.
I think lots of people disagree with you, not just “some”. Not sure the referee did see it until he looked at the screen post VAR check.Absolutely not. The ref saw it and didn’t give it. Unless it’s against Man CityJoe Cole and Hoddle, both ex Chelsea accept it was a blatant foul.
That is what VAR is for. To intervene when a referee makes a clear and obvious error.
Onana should have been sent off for this. He was nowhere near the ballBig VAR decision at Old Trafford - Onana smashes into a Burnley player and wipes him out whilst punching the ball. Ref has given a penalty after review, correctly according to Football Focus. 1-1.
Not soft at all.Sorry but if that was against us we'd be screaming it was soft
Nope. Not a foul.
And certainly not a situation VAR should have got involved in with their ‘high threshold’.
I agree that defenders do it all the time and rarely get penalised (whichgreatly annoys me) but it's still a foul and if you do it in the box leading to a goal it will get penalised every time.Nothing wrong with it, you’ll see loads of those in a game, defenders do it all the time and nothing is given.

Some of our fans certainly would. But then, if Dunk did a Cantona-style karate kid on an opponent and the ref gave a foul, some of our fans would say it was soft. So I'm not sure that's really a measuring stick to judge a challenge by.Sorry but if that was against us we'd be screaming it was soft
What did you think of the Sheff Wed playoff goal when dunk was shoved from clearing the cross?Absolutely not. The ref saw it and didn’t give it. I don’t believe it’s a foul, lots of people agree with my view, some don’t, ultimately it’s subjective. This sort of thing was not what VAR was supposed to get involved with.
