Right, darkest before the dawn. This has been just about the worst week to be a Brighton fan but with Fulham and Newcastle failing to win and Burnley losing things could be worse. We all know we are better against the good teams and Fulham have a tricky run. Maybe we will get 3 penalties against Leicester and will score one and everything will feel a lot better.

It really hasn't.

Come next Thursday night Fulham may still be 3 points behind us, but we will have the game in hand, how the tables turn. Couple of weeks back they had their opportunity to go above us but we happened to beat Spurs and Liverpool.
Nice to see Spurs play well today.
Fulham are just as goal shy as we are.
I wonder if there is a Scott Parker out poll every week?

Luke Shaw just went on Sky Sports and said the referee told Harry Maguire that he didn’t award Man Utd the penalty because he was afraid of the reaction and backlash from the media and fans if he gave it.

Has Dunky started something...where players don’t just say the usual drivel? Maybe refs should be allowed a post match spot

So did Palace (haven't won without Zaha since the dawn of time were and put to bed 0-3 by goal-shy Burnley inside 47 minutes the week before).

As did West Brom (no home win in 17 till we turn up. Oh, and become the first side in PL history to hit the woodwork with 2 pens in the same game).

Can't be long before Brighton and Hove Albion become a registered charity, handing out PL points to those in need.

Yeah, but we were unbeaten in 6 (?) before that - it was pretty good, eh?(just trying to be positive 👍)

So you were expecting 6 points from our last 4 games. But we have 'enjoyed' a return of a meagre 2 points and 1 goal.

I think the results against Spurs and Liverpool make the 0-0 draws vs. Fulham and Villa and defeats to Palace and West Brom evern more gutting. That is a huge under-performance from the whole group of players and the management when it comes to getting it over the line.

Oops, sorry Bry, a very sloppy post from me. What I meant was, from the games against Liverpool, Spurs, Palace, West Brom (I must've been in a timewarp) I expected/hoped for 6 points. (I slept through the 0-0 draws)

Watching the Sheffield v Liverpool game and Albion get a mention from the pundits during the first half.

It went along the lines of ‘143 shots and 1 goal, must be Brighton you’re talking about’. Methinks the football world must be starting to think it’s ok to start extracting the pi** from our ineptness in front of goal.

The scousers are absolute dogshit without their centre backs and Henderson. No wonder everyone’s beating them.

Sheffield United are about on par with us for finishing and luck. Let that sink in.
