I too hope Palace win. Putting the rivalry aside, that has to be the best outcome for us, whether we like it or not.

Obviously we should be looking to stay up without having to rely on other teams' results but a defeat for Fulham could work in our favour come the end of the season

To be honest I think Fulham are playing well enough to keep us in their sights for a while yet.
My main hope is that Newcastle continue to fail and we put some distance between us and them.
It's always much better to have two teams chasing than one.

I would also find it quite amusing if Callum Wilson's goals failed to keep them up.

I've been rooting for Newcastle to go down for a few seasons now, and Stains, both is too much to ask for this season.

I'd be more than happy for Fulham to survive at Newcastles expense.

West Brom haven't won in ages – I think we all know what happens next.

We're DEFIANTLY loose :dunce:

Priority is that we match or better Fulham's result at Palace. They then play Spurs, City, Liverpool so a difficult run for them & a chance for us to extend the gap. Its lots of ifs and buts, but if we can extend the gap during those 3 games we'd be going into the final 9 games with Fulham needing something like 3 more wins than us.

Spurs / Liverpool you say? Easy six points!!

Although there’s a fair bit of worry here, understandably so. It’s worth remembering that despite our feeling, our (unjust) defeat on Monday really was an aberration of a result.

We’ve just come off the back of a hugely impressive 6 game unbeaten run and multiple clean sheets. A draw or better tomorrow and it could be business as usual again.

The home only table makes me feel better. WBA bottom:

Goals For: 8
Goals Against: 32

Scoring less than a goal a game, and conceding nearly 3 a game

Who knows Fulham beat Palace we beat west Brom palace right back in it.

Palace won't be right back in it any time this season, sadly. They need at most a handful of points from 13 games, and no matter how crap they are, they aren't going to lose all 13.

Must go for my long run on Sunday at 12.00, can’t be seen ‘supporting’ them up the road.

Didn’t they have an even worse record the last time we went there in the PL?

Which sets it up PERFECTLY for us - just like last time the season they went down. They were on a 20 (TWENTY) match run without a win at the time. Guess who rocked up to break that streak

[edit]

And after beating us 2-0, it was another 10 games before they won again.

One of my rare away forays. A great day out, but we were awful. Pretty much from minute one.
