Friday 26th
Liverpool 5-0 Huddersfield
Saturday 27th
Tottenham 0-1 West Ham
CP - Everton
Fulham - Cardiff
Southampton - Bournemouth
Watford - Wolves
Brighton - Newcastle
Sunday 28th
Leicester - Arsenal
Burnley - Man City
Man Utd - Chelsea

West Ham were just party-poopers at the new WHL. I think they did exactly the same, just after the Emirates had opened. Each time preventing the media creating a fortress mystique about each new stadium.

Do you mean they didn’t just roll over against “the big team”?

They clearly don’t believe that “these are a big team” means not bothering to cross the half way line apart from the occasional hoofed clearance?

They have pace, creativity and threats. Antonio is a quality player and Felipe Anderson on his day is almost unstoppable.

If we stay up, we all know the (first team) player changes TB must make.

Just goes to show how 2/3 real quality players can lift what was an average team..

West Ham were the first team to win at the Emirates, a certain Bobby Zamora scored the winner. Think it was a quite a while after the Emirates had opened and Arsenal had remained unbeaten across all competitions in their new home for at least 20 matches before West Ham struck.

Imagine us with a quality ACM or two, with pace, and similarly a pacy striker in his prime. We’d carry threats to unsettle hitherto laid back opposing defences. Please TB, deliver that for August 2019.

A good 5/6 minutes injury time at least, at the end of the first half.

Still 0-0 after half an hour played.

Christ this Fulham game is dire. Neither looking likely to score ATM and Cardiff happy to play on break. Looks like they will be ok for a draw

Cardiff doing most of the attacking and Fulham playing the better passing game. The wind is playing a huge role in this one though
