It would also put some more pressure on Palace...We need Saints to get some sort of result to make sure Pool don’t get too far ahead of US and the rest of the chasing pack…….
…… never thought I would ever get to write anything like that!
I might be in the minority but I really don’t think Liverpool are so good that they are going to run away with the league. They really aren’t all that and I’m not convinced they are even stronger than us as a squad.
Call the nurse if you like but their biggest advantage is that refs are on their side in most 50/50 situations.
I think we can thank yesterday's opponents Bournemouth for starting the City (league) rotso, now we start to find out just how good Pep is, its one thing managing a team that is effectively constantly winning, full of confidence, and whose opponents are basically trying not to lose by a cricket score. An entirely different thing to manage a team that is getting used to losing, whose opponents no longer fear them, that is losing confidence everytime they play
City had an aura of invincibility, and when they lost it was generally a fluke- thats all gone now, teams are realising that if they actually try to win, they have a chance and city really don't seem to know how to play when the other teams aren't scared of them
Will Pep and City come good? Yes they will, but the era of city winning just by turning up are now gone
3-0 and 2-0 is comfortable…. 4-0 is a thrashingJust seen on the bbc round up bit on their football website that Arse "Thrashed" Forest. It was 3-0! As a dyed in the wool traditionalist I always think of a "Thrashing" as 5-0 or better. Is this the same as Mars bars getting smaller and crisp packets being half empty? What is the world coming to?
Wolves at the Amex was proper shit game managementSouthampton are utter gash aren't they. I mean you're 2-1 up and zero game management. I know they lost their best player to injury, but they've not made that difficult for Liverpool at all.
f***, are we playing Bournemouth again today?I think we can thank today's opponents Bournemouth for starting the City (league) rot
Cooper sacked.
