I think what he needs are minutes - which we can’t give him presently because Welbeck is having the best season of his career and absolutely on fire, and we only play with one striker. I think he needs a more fire in his belly when he does lead the line though, a lion’s heart to back up his physique.

Of course you’re right! The thing that struck me yesterday though, they look so old and leggy all of a sudden. Is there a player with a faster decline you can remember than Kyle Walker at the moment. Wingers never even used to bother going 1v1 with him. Werner went past him yesterday like he wasn’t even there!
That was in my mind as well. Every team doubles up against Mitoma who is obviously our biggest threat. City didn't do this assuming Walker could handle him. He couldn't! he ripped a new one and no-one helped him. I doubt they will make that mistake again.
