So we are the only team in the bottom 6 to win a game so far.lovely

Predictably I suppose, I think some relegation threatened clubs have abandoned much of their footballing principles.

Villa in every match have been obsessed with aerial balls into the box to a gaggle of giants, over and over again. Watford who have a reputation as a technical team going forward with so much pace, in the last 30 minutes today acted similarly.

So far, in my biased opinion, the Albion have tried to play passing football. Other than with corners, of course.

Well Arsenal beyond our reach, on the flip side overtaking Southampton is a possibility.

It's going to leave me in a dilemma as to who I want to win in the Watford v S'ton match.
We're only 4 points behind S'ton and still have to play them.

We could nick the top south coast team crown for the season which would be nice.

The results in the last two rounds of fixtures almost literally couldn’t have gone much better for us.

If I have my maths right we have double the points total from those games than all other 5 relegation rivals combined. That’s insane.

Indeed. Or to put it another way, out of 30 points available to our rivals, they have accumulated two. Two!

I'm glad Arsenal beat Southampton. Nothing to do with the relegation battle and everything to do with schadenfreudering my way through loads of Arsenal Supporters doing misery videos all week and hearing loads of them saying 'If Brighton can beat us, imagine what Southampton, a much better team, will do.' Who knows, maybe you didn't lose because you are the worst football team in the world. Perhaps you lost because, on the day, Brighton played better than you....again.

It’s a tough one, certainly. I think I’m going to go for Watford. I quite like them, and Troy Deeney, and our trips to Watford. Or maybe a soul destroying, energy sapping 0-0 where both teams play appallingly, and pick up a couple of injuries and red cards.

I like the safety blanket that is having Southampton close by.
As much as I would have enjoyed another Arsenal defeat, keeping within touching distance of them is better.
