Interesting innit, will Potter do a 180 degrees about turn in the final 14 games and abandon the tactic of (from start to finish) passing around our 18 yard box to draw the opposition? I can’t see it. He’ll stick to his principles.

Keeping principles is fine - but a bit of pragmatism is seriously needed now. I wonder if the likes of Ashworth - or even Bloom - will have (or already have had) a word in Potter's shell-like about it.
Same as I wonder if they had a word with CH last season,, or did they just leave him thinking he was doing OK.

Details, details.

The point is the same.

Great - just in time for the ‘reaction’ performance. I’d preferred it if they’d snatched a draw, or something... Alas, I can see an angry Moyes press conf on Fri... demanding an Albion spank fest.

FFS.

I also envisage Graham Potter, sifting there taking us through his estate agency property portfolio - he’s on excellent commission.

He’d make a lovely estate agent.

All other teams look like they are up for the fight. We go behind and seem to stop fighting and lose heart. Having said that every midfield looks as if they are prepared to run their socks off. We are too pedestrian and playing from the back seems to tire them out after 30 minutes. CH did not change tactics last year and we nearly went down. Let’s hope GP learns from that. Playing from the back has invited teams on to us and the players have lost confidence. We can’t expect them to play in tight situations without making mistakes as it stands. Playing higher up the pitch may help. If we escape this season he can go back to potter ball then.

Shows what I know West Ham now falling apart. Still they must be looking forward to getting confidence back against us like everyone else. Lol

Teams like Burnley, Newcastle and Palace seem to score with every shot on target whereas we need about 20 shots to score a goal. It’s so frustrating.

If my understanding of Xg is correct.

The Albion need 7 shots to score one goal.
Whereas Newcastle score just over 13 goals from each shot.

This, Eddie Howe was grinning from ear to ear last night.... He hasn't realised that 'Muff don't get to play us every week.

Well Burnley look far better than us on this performance

I’ve watched it, so deserved, they’ve carried a threat with always 2 or 3 upfront waiting for balls up the channels. Quality defending by Charlie Taylor and his mates, so disciplined.

6 points over Leicester and Manure in 4 days, will probably keep them up and give further momentum.

As for Solskjaer, is he a dead man walking?

Cos Dyche can get his team fired up and has got the right players to scrap, unsettle and battle their way to safety, knows and plays to their strengths.

And to think I had Burnley as relegation fodder only 2 games ago.
They have been poor recently but tonight they had a game plan and stuck to it, they did a good job tonight.
As I said yesterday we don't seem to have a game plan over the past few games.
We need to find our best team playing in the right positions, with a game plan.
I don't think that Propper and Stephens should be on the pitch together and Dunk and Duffy should be.
My biggest concern is we don't have enough PL experienced players and this could be our downfall.
