I had a look at Arsenal Mania, their main forum, and even in the match day thread, which as we know is notoriously biased and raw emotion, every single post I read acknowledged it was the correct decision. Every single one.

Even in their permanent moaning about referees thread (over 6,000 posts) not one person is saying it wasn’t a red.

If even Arsenal fans aren’t complaining with the decision, you know it’s a 100% dead cert.

And it was - the clearest DOGSO red you’ll ever see. I’m just astonished the ref didn’t give it in real time

And, checks notes, who was on VAR - Stuart Attwell - incompetent fool. That and the Everton non penalty are inexcusable from a VAR point of view.
