I agree he made the most of it, but it was a shirt pull by De Ligt. True, Young defied the laws of physics to fall forwards but that’s football.Contact yes, but I’d argue Young has overplayed his hand there and dived.
Right result and good to see a ref not bottle it after he initially gave the decision.
And they've had years to learn when to stay out. If they haven't clocked now, they are only there for howlers, they never will. There is absolutely NO reason for VAR to get involved in that. Ref's call - not a clear and obvious mistake. It's the sort of intervention that drives everyone mad. If the ref hadn't given it they should have kept out of it then too.
Everton the only home team* to get a point! What a lovely afternoon. The Arse losing at home and picking up a red card. Fascist Twitter meltdown incoming..
Yes, I’m sure the Arsenal fans on Twitter will be perfectly fine with this one though and not screaming conspiracy or anythingLewis-Skelly red card for Arsenal - wasn't he the lad who got a controversial red card a couple of weeks ago?

(I haven’t seen it but I don’t think it would matter if he punched someone in the face with them)
