Contact yes, but I’d argue Young has overplayed his hand there and dived.

Right result and good to see a ref not bottle it after he initially gave the decision.
I agree he made the most of it, but it was a shirt pull by De Ligt. True, Young defied the laws of physics to fall forwards but that’s football.

I think the braver decision would’ve been to have stuck by his original decision having been called to the screen

There is absolutely NO reason for VAR to get involved in that. Ref's call - not a clear and obvious mistake. It's the sort of intervention that drives everyone mad. If the ref hadn't given it they should have kept out of it then too.
And they've had years to learn when to stay out. If they haven't clocked now, they are only there for howlers, they never will.

VAR Should be abolished in full

VAR really continues to be a farce. Too much focus on the wrong angle and the one that that suggests Young dived. Sure he exaggerates but from the critical angle behind the goal you can clearly see the shirt tug which comes first before.

What a lovely afternoon. The Arse losing at home and picking up a red card. Fascist Twitter meltdown incoming..
Everton the only home team* to get a point!

*So far - wouldn't mind if it stayed that way for the whole weekend, although a point for Villa (but not 3) would be even better.

Lewis-Skelly red card for Arsenal - wasn't he the lad who got a controversial red card a couple of weeks ago?
Yes, I’m sure the Arsenal fans on Twitter will be perfectly fine with this one though and not screaming conspiracy or anything

(I haven’t seen it but I don’t think it would matter if he punched someone in the face with them)

Kudus is faster than Raya, plus could probably shoot from there

I can't decide who I want to lose more here . . . . Enzo and Neto for Chelsea are weapons grade c***s of players . . .

is it possible for enough players to get sent off so the match gets abandoned, and no points awarded?

oh, and some injuries as well.
