The myth that is the Famous Anfield Atmosphere strikes again... can't even raise much of an atmosphere on their big derby day. Amex 19th for atmosphere My Arse

A couple of times the referee has looked like he was going to take no action only to decide to give a yellow or a foul in Liverpools favour.

Well, if they're down to ten men, I guess Everton are going to have to stop their marauding attacks, and try to sit back and see the game out. Really hate it when a red card ruins and exciting back-and-forth contest.

Been really enjoyable watching Ali Mac again, his passes out to Salah have been gorgeous. Liverpool do look so dodgy at the back.

The red card has ended it as an interesting contest. Two yellow card challenges I guess and if the Albion were Liverpool we'd have been incredulous that he hadn't given a second yellow, so it is what it is.

To be fair, it wasn't a contest before the red card. Everton are crap and the only way they are ever going to score is through a defensive error (and as others have said, Liverpool look dodgy at the back so this isn't out of the question).

And yet none of MacAllister's fouls were yellows last week. Incredible really the variation in how the officials ref a match.

This match was boring anyway, due to Everton’s non-football tactics, now Everton are down to 10 it gives the perfect excuse for them to simply defend and spoil. f*** watching that shit every week.

Whilst it would've been a fairly soft second yellow, Konate stopped a break away and he should've been off. This match encapsulates why fans get utterly f***ed off with referees.

Should have been a second yellow then for Konate. Took one for the team in stopping a breakaway, which is a booking all day long and even Klopp knows as he’s dragging Konate off before he gets sent off.

Onana has dived there, basically more interested in trying to get the player sent off than break away himself, he was one on one with the last defender there. I f***ing hate Dyche
