7th to 12th. 12th - seem a long time since we've been there - let's hope we're 7th!

And if Liverpool win (or we lose) then we're into the 'Teams We Can't Catch' stage. And also if Liverpool win (or we get a point or more) then we're into the 'Teams That Can't Catch Us' stage as well.

The months tick by in this modest PL form, yet we never sink fast. Still just 6 points off mega spend Manure for example. Chelsea’s never-ending setbacks have helped.

6 points is almost insurmountable to claw back whereas sliding down by 6 points is somewhat easier although it takes time.
