All going well at present, a draw puts us above Burnley and the Toon but with the Fulham result I wouldn't actually be too bothered if were loose...

As whichever iconic film star said once: “you talking’ to me?” Or to one of the other Albion fans over this way? Difficult to tell.

But usually they all talk about Saints. If talking to me about us, it’s normally Brighton, occasionally Seagulls, never Albion. If I’m talking to my brother it’s ALWAYS the Albion, and has been for 50 years plus.

All the fans who refer to them as ‘Saints’ really.

As they never refer to as the Albion, I thought you’d repay the favour by calling them Southampton.

I don’t see fans of other clubs calling them Saints, that’s what I mainly commenting on, seemed a bit weird.

England’s Dier was a dumbarse just then in the derby against Chelsea. A needless/naive pen, 0-1.

Dier is his name dire is his ability. Southgate loves him though

Kane FC look done for at the minute. Mourinho has to adapt his management style or his time in football is done.

Think he wont last very long in Tottenham. They wont sack him this season but feck knows if he will survive the year.

After that, I bet he will either return home to Porto or coach some national team (Portugal or England).

Interesting stat if anyone interested (may have been mentioned before?)

After 22 games last season we had 24 points and -5 GD, exactly the same as we have this season........ But.

Last season the bottom 3 at this stage had Norwich 14, Muff 20 and Villa 21 points
This season they have SU 11, WBA 12, Fulham 14 (though Fulham have 1 in hand)

We're identical, the bottom 3 this year are much further away

He's done at the top. He does okish at Spurs because he has good players but doesn't coach patterns of play when going forward. It's all about him. Narcissist. Turgid football. BFS is the footballing dinosaur and Jose is the caveman.

They are sorely missing Kane, Son has gone right off the boil too. I was going to put Son back in my Fantasy Footy team when Kane got injured, glad I didn't bother...Additionally, Salah has just two assists in the last 8 weeks !

His teams, judging by his last 3 jobs, seem to down tools very quickly and stop playing for him, His style was of an era 15-20 years ago and he hasn't evolved

Rio has just said ‘watching the Brighton - Spurs game you’d have thought it was Brighton who were going for Champions League football

After another extremely long set of BT ads, they’re going to talk about cultures at football clubs including the academies .... JH plugging Sidwell as about to talk about us.

He was done a long time ago, the game has passed him by, he’s now one of the poorest managers in the PL.

He doesn’t coach, drill or set up his teams anywhere near as well as most of the managers in the league now. His teams have no real plan or identity, a bit like Lampard’s Chelsea actually.

He’s a long way behind the likes of Pep, Klopp, Rodgers, Tuchel, Bielsa, Hasenhuttl and Potter.

Could be worse. West Brom have a manager whose style is of an era 115-120 years ago and he hasn't evolved :lolol:
