How on earth did we fail to beat Sheffield Utd? They are utterly, utterly shite.
Raised their game away to a better side, as so often happens - just like we often do. It’s the classic “away to Burnley” thing, such a leveller against a physical side who are scrapping with you

Burnley don’t play like that so much now. They’re playing some decent stuff. SU are just awful.
Strangely I’m less concerned about Burnley at the Amex if they set up like this.

Sheffield United now down to ten - just seen the highlights. What a plonker.

Heck, do we even have 11 players to field at this point? Whilst id love us to beat Chelsea, we are down to the bare bones. Rest those that played in Athens, get the kids on and take it on the chin.
Anyone but Chelsea I'd say play the U21s.

But it'd feel like giving an advance preview to our most frequent customers 😡

Back in Sussex
Luton's keeper was booked on 32 minutes for time-wasting - says much for their approach to today's game.

And with Maupay now putting Brentford ahead, their gameplan has now gone to pot.

I never said they weren't, but second half we were pants
I got the feeling De Zerbi wanted us to start controlling games and was looking for a clean sheet, from the Fulham and Sheffield games.

We had 3 or 4 games, where we seemed more content to try and control the game, when ahead, rather than putting the result beyond our opponents.
