This'll really ramp up the Utd fan protests.

There will be hundreds of them:-

Meeting in a pub they were going to anyway.
Walking their usual route to Old Trafford.
Arriving late.
Going in and watching the game.

That'll teach The Glaziers a lesson.

Bit like those super-duper geordies protesting against Ashley in their tens

Well done Liverpool - smashed United. I have a soft spot for Liverpool - have had since standing on the Kop (the real one) in the 1960s in my student days up there. Would love it, yes really LOVE IT, if we could do them a favour tomorrow!

(Would love it, regardless of Liverpool, if we could get something out of tomorrow's game).

Green & yellow scarves, whilst spending fortunes on several kits a season to pay the Glazer’s interest/dividends.

For me Utd are akin to a long running tv series, long bereft of originality and the thing that made it unique all those years ago.

Much like Lost, getting shitter by the year and equally as unfathomable.

What the **** is going on ? Time travel, purgatory... alternate dimension.

Hmmmmmm.

Current Man Utd - Only Fools and courses after they had the windfall

Watching the Liverpool game now, a touch of class in the 7th minute with the whole of Anfield applauding and singing YNWA for Ronaldo and his boy.

Bought a tear to my eye I don't mind admitting.

RIP.

I think the players are doing Rangnik dirty. I don't think we wants to play Maguire if it was his choice, and I definitely don't think for a second Pogba was injured. I think he just knew he was out of his league, leaving in a few weeks, and said **** this. If I supported them I'd be absolutely livid with the effort they showed. Wan Bissaka, Rashford, Bruno... they just walked around. At Anfield in their big derby, responding to a 0-5 thrashing at their place.

Worst Man Utd team I can remember in a long time. Maybe in my lifetime. Thiago was immense but I don't even feel that Liverpool tried that hard, they were nowhere at the level of the Man City games they just played.

Feeling a bit sorry for the manager to be honest

Anyone remember all the talk about how Ralf Rangnick was a mentor to Tuchel and Klopp and his signing for Man U was going to make them masters of Liverpool and Chelsea because of this.

This is a great football photo from the Guardian.

I'm choosing to believe Mo Saleh as actually quite small and is stood in front of Harry Maguire mocking him about how easy it is for them.

Me too. I just wonder what the reaction would have been if the boot was on the other foot?
Not a fan of R7, but as a human being, a tragedy.

A highly partisan insinuation that Liverpool fans are fundamentally better people than Man U fans.

It was a question, not an insinuation. Your touchy response suggests a touch of partisanship the other way maybe? There are several die-hard scouse-haters on NSC ............................

I can't stand either of them, or any of the ESL teams really, so count me amongst their number

IMO ... Manure is a squad full of talented, skillful players in the main. There's some absolute quality in that squad. But they aren't a team, they don't play as a team, and those quality players simply don't turn up an awful lot of the time at the moment. There's something rotten at that club. I don't think it's the manager, and TBH I don't think it's the players either. I'd happily blame the player if it was 1 or 2 of them who were routinely under-performing, but when under-performing is across pretty much the whole squad that tells me there's something broken in the club culture that simply means the players universally are invested enough in the success of the club to be that bothered.

You watch ... a lot of those Manure players will go off for internationals and play like we know they can. Whatever club they play for after Manure, they'll probably be stars.

Chelsea 1-2 Arsenal (a fortunate goal each, and a well worked team goal to allow arsenal to re-take the lead)
Everton 0-1 Leicester

Glad arsenal are doing well, only because otherwise I'd want to be watching AFTV instead of listening to our game on the radio.

Edit: Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal. Bet they're getting rattled on aftv...

Cracking game of football. End to end.

More goals in this one.
