That the one where the commentator said “Ayew dare not look at the ref” or something like that
Yep - prob would’ve got a yellow if he’d wasn’t already on one. All they do is bore everyone and dive…

The ghost of that twat lives on 🤦🏻‍♂️

Genuinely think a rule change is needed. VAR does not currently get involved with yellow cards, but think they should if it’s a second yellow resulting in a red.
They should, but, like with everything else, the VAR officials would still f up the decision

Regardless of the outcome, that should be seen as a clear and obvious error by the ref. It looked barely a foul let alone a yellow card.
Yeh - can’t check it though can they ffs.

Interesting you say that - makes sense IMO.

On bbc, someone sent in this comment.

“That red card is a dreadful decision. Literally a brush of the hand and the Palace man goes down. Nothing in it. Disgraceful. All decisions leading to a dismissal should be subject to VAR.”

Coote is just awful, but at the same time this game is nothing but players cheating, diving and shithousing

Nailed on penalty
Striker runs in, never in control or posession, toes the ball toward the corner flag just as he gets brushed by keeper, who (foolishly) put his arms out . . . Gooner leaps like an 18 year old salmon on a promise.

Yes its a penalty now, but if it was real football, it's 50/50 a booking for diving and deliberately defrauding the beautiful game, as well as the keeper inpeding his goalward progress . . . . .

A drop ball and a proper kickathon would have been a fair resumption. And a booking each.
