Leeds could down based on all the hammerings they had under Bielsa and their GD. Blinkered Leeds fans won’t acknowledge that of course

I'm genuinely very disappointed that Everton have beaten the drop, that really would have been SO enjoyable. Leeds or Burnley is a nice consolation prize though. Either of them would be fun, probably edging towards Leeds going. Burnley are scum obvs, but the sheer delusion of Leeds fans about their club needs to be kept in check. It would be a healthy relegation for all concerned.

The Palace capitulation against one of the most hapless, garbage, dismal, shittiest teams in the division was lovely. Wish I'd watched it now.

Definitely very funny that they totally ****ed it up, but last home game of the season with Everton staring into the abyss at half time- they were always going to come out after a bollocking at half time going hell for leather to get back into it . Palace nothing to play for either

Added to the fact Bielsa always insisted on having a small squad to work with, so when the injuries (and suspensions from their 103 cards) hit, they had little cover.

A self-inflicted wound.

Isn't it an absolute pleasure to be completely out of the relegation scrap, and commenting on the continuing agonies of lesser sides? On top of that, Palace chucked away a 2-0 lead.

All in all, a good night's football.

And by a few goals, too....unlikely, but 13th is certainly possible.

Ah, sod it! Lets just go and smash the Hammers and be done with it. :)

I will be bitterly disappointed if we don't get at least 12th.

13th is our best ever finish - this team deserves to PROVE that it is the best team in our entire 121 year history.

Leeds at Brentford, cauldron of an atmosphere, and Dirtys fans really can create an atmosphere like it or not. Got to fear for public disorder there.

Newcastle playing really well right now will be at Burnley.

Sadly, I think one of the away sides will get a positive result.

Having been at the match Sunday and seen just how poor Leeds were, I think Burnley start favourites.

Leeds just looked disconnected from tactical awareness. Albion weren't full throttle. We should have won that.

Being pedantic..

Aggregated, we already have our best points total. But we need 11th (again aggregated) to complete our best season.

Although, the counter argument says 12th best in the land is better than 13th regardless. I bow to that.

A late winner for Burnley would have been the icing on the cake - it would have guaranteed us 13th. place at the very worst, and leave Leeds in a position where nothing but a win would do (and still depending on results elsewhere).

Oh well, can't have everything..................................

Have they ever won the play offs? Feels like they’re in them pretty often but never go up via them!

Promoted to the Premier League in 1993 after a 4-3 win against Leicester in the Final.

Craig Maskell scored one of their goals.

In non Prem news, Swindon blew another play off campaign.

Not just that, they hilariously had Tommy Mooney on talking about his own Swindon semi final failure!!!!! - one of my top football moments ever
