Fair enough - that’s good of you to say. I did think Hughton was unlucky to lose the job but I’d say the same if Potter was fired without relegating us. Just for the record, the performances under Hughton from Fulham away onwards went from underwhelming to utter dogshit, hope that’s cleared that one up

Agreed. I still love CH but it was the right time to change. I wish him well at Forest and have no doubt he will get them there or thereabouts if given the opportunity.

To give Hughton his full due, he was sacked after a season avoiding relegation, with an FA cup semi-final, and a double over Palace!
That's pretty close to a dream season for me...


But yes in retrospect, absolutely the right decision.
Which is why Tony Bloom is such an incredible owner.
